     • Ensure records include: 1. The name and type of sterilizer used. 2. Date and time sterilizer was used. 3. Equipment on which the sterilizer was used. 4. Any preventative maintenance or repairs done on or to a sterilizer and whether the sterilizer functioned properly after the maintenance or repairs, and 5. The results of any checks or tests done on sterilizers: a) Chemical indicators should be monitored after each load; b) Spore test results easily accessible to the Public Health Inspector.
