- Pepperoni and honey garlic breadsticks were being stored in the lower display cabinet that is not temperature cooled. The operator confirmed that the pepperoni sticks require refrigeration as indicated on the packaging - the operator moved the breadsticks into the display cooler during the inspection.

- Operator noted that the display case has not been fixed but that the service provider was due to arrive today to have it repaired. Staff noted that sausage rolls and pizza bread were being stored in the unit while the ambient temperature was measured to be 11.6C using the on-site infrared thermometer. Staff was advised to removed the noted products from the case again and to refrain from displaying until the unit has been repaired. The owner noted that she will provide an update by thursday if repaired by then, otherwise she will expect a follow-up call from EPH on tuesday.

- Display case cooler is providing a storage temperature of in between 13.5 and 15C as verified using probe and infrared thermometers respectively. Items currently displayed include cooked sausage rolls, pizza bread, cheese bread and marshmellow melts. Operator was directed to relocate the meat containing products into an alternate cooler before the line cooler is serviced by their regular technician. Operator was advised to have the unit repaired within 1 weeks' time.

- A large container of margarine was initially observed to be stored at room temperature, with the label indicating that it should be stored between temperatures of 1C and 12C. The operator noted she had just finished using it and put it away during the inspection. Recommendation to use smaller portions if needing to be left out at room temperature for longer periods of time unless the handling instructions indicating that it can be safely stored at room temperature.
