- Cleaned nail instruments were found stored in a dusty basket that also contained cut human nails.Clean instruments must be stored in a clean, designated area to prevent possible contamination.

- 1. The CS20 disinfectant had an expiry date of March 2025. This issue was addressed and corrected during the inspection.2. Drill bits are currently being disinfected using alcohol. However, the alcohol being used does not have a Drug Identification Number (DIN) and therefore is not approved for use as a disinfectant.3. The pedicure basin is being disinfected using alcohol and Lysol disinfectant wipes. As with the drill bits, the alcohol lacks a DIN and cannot be used as a disinfectant. Additionally, a proper cleaning step must be performed prior to applying a low-level disinfectant.
