      • Take out containers were being stored under the hand wash sink located in the coffee area of the store.Food and related items must not be stored under plumbing in order to protect in the case of a plumbing leak. Containers were relocated during inspection.
    • 11. Are there adequate and properly operating dish washing facilities to effectively clean and sanitize equipment and utensils (unless noted elsewhere)(Critical)?
      • There were no well-fitting drain plugs available for the three compartment dishwashing sinks.Obtain at least two well-fitting drain plugs for the three compartment dishwashing sinks.
    • 12. Are there adequate and properly operating dish washing facilities to effectively clean and sanitize equipment and utensils (unless noted elsewhere)(Non-Critical)?
      • Chlorine based food contact surface sanitizer was in use in the facility, but chlorine test strips were not available for use. The test strips available were for quat based sanitizer.Obtain chlorine test strips so that the concentration of the chlorine based sanitizer can be verified.
    • 16. Is the facility free of unapproved animals, vermin and/or insects (unless noted elsewhere), and maintained to prevent the entry or harbourage of pests?
      • There was no active pest monitoring plan for the facility (no devices in place for monitoring pests). Actively monitor the facility for pest activity. Pest monitoring inspections must take place at least once a month.
