- Environmental Public Health (EPH) will facilitate the issuance of a new valid food handling permit for the food canteen.Existing food handling permit for the canteen was issued in late 2023 (2023 - 2024 Food Handling Permit) and is no longer valid.Note all schools are exempt from the food handling permit fee.New food handling permit will be emailed from our head office in Red Deer and sent to the Viking School Principal for printing and posting (in a glass frame) in the food canteen.Noted today (June 5, 2025) that the food canteen is closed and no longer in use; however, the school still offers free granola bars and displays these in the main office and subsequently will continue to issue a food handling permit.
