    • 12. Is the facility free of unapproved animals, vermin and/or insects (unless noted elsewhere), and maintained to prevent the entry or harbourage of pests?
      • The loading door at the back of the facility (right hand side) was observed to be open for natural ventilation. No insect screens or other pest proof measures are installed on the loading door to prevent vermin and/or pests from entering the facility. PHI advised that the door can only be kept open when vehicles are actively being loaded with water bottles, otherwise it must be kept shut.Any exterior openings (windows or doors) being used for natural ventilation must have adequate insect screens or other pest proof measures installed to prevent/deter pest entry.**Note: Evidence of pests or pest activity was not observed during the inspection
    • 12. Is the facility free of unapproved animals, vermin and/or insects (unless noted elsewhere), and maintained to prevent the entry or harbourage of pests?
      • Pest Control Records were not readily available for review during the inspection. Operator emailed pest control records for the past 10 months, including the month of August to inspector for review.Please ensure that pest control records are kept on site for verification by a Public Health Inspector.

      • The weather stripping/door seal bottom of the front door of the facility was observed to be in disrepair. Sunlight can be seen from the outside through the visible door gap where the weather stripping/door seal is damaged.Exterior openings must be properly sealed to deter/prevent the entry of pests.

      • No written records of ozone concentration were available on site. Ensure that adequate monitoring equipment is available to monitor the ozone concentration regularly.
