      • No chlorine test strips available.Please purchase chlorine test strips to ensure that the food contact sanitizer is measuring at 100 ppm chlorine. A 100 ppm chlorine solution can be made by mixing 1/2 tsp of household bleach per liter of water in a spray bottle or sani bucket.

      • Staff bathroom (and the back area) is undergoing renovations. Toilet observed in bathroom but no handwashing sink. Please install a handwashing sink in the bathroom as soon as possible. Staff are currently using the 2 comp in the back for handwashing.
    • 13. Are properly operating hand washing sink(s) accessible to food handlers, located in suitable areas, and stocked with appropriate hand washing supplies?
      • No liquid soap or paper towel in a suitable dispenser available for the 2 compartment sink in the back. Dawn dish soap and napkins to be used as a temporary measure. Please obtain liquid soap and paper towel (in a dispensing unit).
    • 14. Does the facility have an adequate supply of potable hot and cold running water and is the water sampled at required intervals?
      • No hot water available at the coffee sink. Please repair so that the sink has hot and cold running water.
    • 19. Does the facility have a valid permit and does the facility operate in compliance with the conditions of that permit, or is the facility awaiting approval prior to operation?
      • New ownership operating without prior AHS approval and without a food handling permit.
