    • 09. Is the pool premises maintained in a clean and sanitary condition, good repair and are temperatures being properly regulated?
      • Pool deck surfacing is not smooth, easy to clean or properly sealed. Pieces of surfacing were missing around the skimmer floor cover closest to the pool ladder. Additionally, the surfacing was rough and chipping around deck drains and other areas of the pool deck.Corrective Action Required: - Seal the surfacing so it is not deteriorating and provides a surface without spaces or cracks to facilitate adequate cleaning and disinfection. - Repair any damaged areas throughout the pool deck. Note: The edging around the perimeter of the pool and whirlpool as re-done with a more suitable sealed rubber surfacing. This would also be acceptable for the entire pool deck.

      • The rinsing shower produced only a light stream, which may not allow for adequate rinsing before or after using the whirlpool or swimming pool. The showerhead appeared to have significant calcium buildup, which may be contributing to the reduced water flow.While onsite, the pool operator began cleaning the showerhead. If cleaning does not resolve the issue, please replace the showerhead and ensure the shower provides sufficient water flow for proper rinsing.

      • NEW RUBBER POOL DECK SURFACING IS NOT SMOOTH AND EASY TO CLEAN. PIECES OF SURFACING WERE MISSING IN SOME AREAS AND RUBBER CRUMBS WERE PRESENT THROUGHT THE POOL DECK. - SEAL THE SURFACING SO IT IS NOT DETERIORATING AND IT PROVIDES SURFACE WITHOUT LARGE VOIDS SO ADEQUATE CLEANING AND DISINFECTION COULD BE CONDUCTED. - REPAIR ANY DAMAGED AREAS. * Edging on the pool and whirlpool was redone by more suitable sealed rubber surfacing"

      • The written records show some unacceptable chemical water parameters but do not show any corrective actions that were taken. - When water chemical parameters are not within the acceptable ranges, ensure that appropriate steps are being taken and corrective actions recorded.
