The man running this store harasses and barrages people demanding to know if they’re buying something or not the minute they walk through the door. This is in the middle of nowhere where clearly people will need to use a restroom. Before they get the chance to use the washroom and browse he is in your face. “Are you buying anything???! Wine??? Jerky?? Did you hear what I said?” Last time through we bought jerky and were returning customers. After being harassed again and told we could not use the bathroom I’ll never stop there again and I’ll be sure to let everyone know to avoid this place at all costs.

Five stars, craft liquor, home made jerky, you must pay to use bathroom but the jerky is so good. Stop in here and chat him up, great guy and place to spend locally. It's abit expensive but would rather support local than a franchise.

I honestly cannot believe this place has “friendly service” reviews — are we even talking about the same gas station? We stopped here specifically because people said the bathrooms were clean and the service was nice. Instead, we got yelled at like we were an inconvenience for EXISTING. We barely pulled up before the guy literally shouted out the door, “Do you need gas!?” We said no, and he barked back, “Do you need something in the store!?” We said we just needed the bathroom and he got visibly annoyed like we had just committed a crime. Then he snapped that there’s no public bathroom and to “go five minutes up the road,!” waved us off like stray animals, and slammed the door.

The staff in this store were very rude, even though I bought the beef jerky he recommended. I asked him if there were any recommended restaurants nearby. I don't know what annoyed him about this question, but he was very rude and wanted to drive me away. This was really an unpleasant experience.

My husband and I stopped here on a road trip for gas. The man who ran the shop was very nice and chatted to me about my job and recommended we try the local beer. I wasn't sure if it would live up to my expectations, but it was some seriously good beer -- worth picking up if you're passing through. I'd like to try his locally-sourced beef jerky next time if we have the chance.

Great place to stop and get the road trip, necessities. Lots of snacks, candy, and drinks for those long drives. Make sure you get the pepperoni packs here (they must be 18' long), sooooo good. Also has excellent Beef Jerky, and they sell alcohol too. Did I mention it is a full service gas station?

You can get fabulous locally made jerky and pepperoni here! The owner is a good guy. His only request is that people buy an item if they want to use the restroom. There is ample parking.

I think the guy running the gas station is on the spectrum. He isn’t rude, that’s just his nature. He’s great at his job and takes it very seriously. The beef jerky is probably the best I’ve ever had and we always buy multiple bags on our way through. Definitely worth a stop! A quirky store with lots to see - there is something for everyone. If i looked up the term "paranoid" I'm sure I'd find our friend behind the counter at this establishment. Also "pushy", "control freak" and "OCD"come to mind. Only visit if you REALLY need fuel or the bathroom, or supplies, of which he'll try his hardest to push you some of his goods.

Don’t bother stopping here. The guy working the place is a complete jerk and the store is a filthy mess.
