An Absolute Paradise – High-End Hospitality in a Surreal Setting! A+++++++ Our stay at Eagle Bear Lodge was absolutely spectacular. The views of the Niut Mountain Range are completely surreal, and looking out over Eagle Lake—which is an incredible, brilliant blue that looks just like the ocean—was breathtaking. The weather was warm and sunny, making the scenery even more stunning. The wooden lodge itself offers total comfort, complete with a massive, beautiful stone fireplace that gives it the perfect cozy atmosphere. The cabins and the overall vibe are relaxed yet incredibly fun. What really makes this place special is the hosts, Jenn and Dave. Jenn is an outstanding cook—every single meal she made was phenomenal. She also took me out on an ATV, which was an amazing way to see all the beauty Tatla Lake has to offer. Meanwhile, Dave took my husband out canoeing on the lake, capturing some stunning photography shots from the water. We were blown away by the wildlife, spotting an eagle, Rufous hummingbirds, and even a hummingbird clearwing moth. If you are looking for a relaxing, adventurous, and unforgettable getaway, this is it. Highest recommendation possible!

The location is amazing, very quiet and set on the lake shore. The hosts, David And Jennifer, are wonderful and fascinating. Nothing was too much trouble. Expect home cooked meals and a buffet breakfast all cooked by Jennifer. We only got to spend one night but David still arranged a canoe trip in the morning before we left. The lodging itself is a work in progress: there were lovely outdoor areas and a nice dining area but the public area toilets seemed out of action, and the bar was being used as storage. The cabin was quirky if a bit rough and ready. Really you feel you are spending time in someone's delightful home, this is not intended to be a five star resort.

The site is beautiful, with amazing views on the lake and the mountains. David and Jennifer are incredible hosts. It is a perfect place to stay if you are in the region.

Unforgettable Stay at Eagle Bear Lodge I came to Eagle Bear Lodge on a work trip and was completely blown away. What started as just another assignment turned into an experience I’ll never forget. Whether you're traveling solo or with a group, this place is an absolute gem—and hands down the best choice for accommodation if you're in the area for work or a little get-away from home. David and Jennifer are phenomenal hosts. Dave is always ready with a quick joke to keep spirits high, and Jen's storytelling makes every evening feel special. They made me feel right at home from the moment I arrived. Jennifer is an amazing cook who kept us well-fed, and Dave’s desserts? Next level. And then there’s Trooper and Daisy—the friendliest dogs you’ll ever meet. Trooper greeted me every morning on my way to breakfast, and both pups will absolutely steal your heart. The scenery is stunning, too. The lake view changes with the light and weather, offering a new kind of beauty every day. Honestly, if you’re talking to your boss about where to stay—this is it. You won’t regret it.

I had a super stay at Eagle Bear Lodge.|The cabins were very clean and cozy and had all the amenities I needed for my stay. |The meals were lovely and Jenny and David were great hosts. Both are very knowledgeable on the area and the wildlife and gave me great recommendations for local hikes and hidden gems! I even got the chance to go kayaking and fishing on Tatla Lake during my stay. |The views from the lodge are incredible and the surrounding area is a nature lovers paradise! |I will definitely be back again
