    • 12. Are the general safety devices and physical conditions in this pool providing a safe environment (Critical)?
      • New suction outlet installed in the pool during basin refinishing. Awaiting anti-entrapment compliance plan to be submitted in order to confirm compliant installation.
    • 17. Does the pool have adequate written policies, plans and posted rules and safety information to ensure that the pool is operating in a safe manner?
      • Anti-entrapment compliance plan has not been updated to reflect the new suction outlet installed in the pool basin. Forward a completed copy of the form from the pool service provider to confirm compliance.

    • 07. Are the filtration, circulation and disinfection systems used to maintain water quality working properly (Non-Critical)?
      • One the of the 2 floor inlets is not installed. Ensure a proper floor inlet to maintain proper water circulation.
    • 12. Are the general safety devices and physical conditions in this pool providing a safe environment (Critical)?
      • While basin was drained the main drain was found to not be secured to the existing sump. The Aquastar A10 suction outlet does have instructions on secure fitment directly to the basin finish. Refer to the manufacture's instructions for the required screws and anchors necessary to directly install the suction outlet fitting assembly into the pool finish. Ensure hardware as listed by the manufacture is used.
    • 14. Is the pool maintained in a clean and sanitary condition, good repair and are temperatures being properly regulated?
      • A crack along the transition between the east wall and floor of the pool was noted. There was also some basin finish peeling along the transition between the south wall and floor. Patch and seal the areas where the basin finish is in disrepair and to prevent water infiltration that could lead to basin deterioration and possible leaking.

      • Operator was not routinely documenting testing of the secondary device. Ensure the testing of the device completed weekly is documented in the records.
