      • 1. Office room: There is an active leak in the ceiling and water staining. It was reported that water was dripping from the ceiling during the recent rainfall. Please repair the leak and confirm there is no mold growth.

      • 1. The chemical cabinet was unlocked at the time of inspection. The lock appears to be sticking and difficult to close.The operator was able to lock the cabinet. Consider repairing or replacing the lock to ensure it is easy for staff to use.

This can be a potential pinching hazard.Please secure the back portion of the cabinet and ensure there are no gaps.

Preschool 3: A section of the self-adhesive film has been ripped off for one of the play tables.Please repair the table and add new adhesive.3. Freezer located in the kitchen: There is food spills inside the freezer.Please clean and wipe the inside of the freezer.

      • 1. Preschool 1: The blankets draped over the cots are touching one another. Please ensure bedding including blankets are stored properly and protected from contamination.

      • 1. The storage room and mechanical room are cluttered with items. There were also small items (ex. marbles) scattered inside the mechanical room.Please organize and clean inside the mechanical and storage room. Small toys can be a slipping hazard for staff working inside the mechanical room.
    • 32. Are general nuisance conditions, other than those noted in other violations, being prevented at this child care facility (Non-Critical)?
      • 1. Junior room: The temperature log for the fridge has not been completed.Please ensure staff are checking and completing the temperature logs on a daily basis.
