    • F2.5 Are the premises and equipment properly maintained and operated in a sanitary manner (i.e. ongoing maintenance)?
      • Observation(s): Please re-calibrate the wall-mounted sanitizer dispenser located in the vegetable department to ensure mixing of quaternary ammonia to between 200-300ppm (observed test showed above 400ppm). As discussed in previous inspections, an observable organic build-up was still noted on floors throughout the back dry storage/loading area, vegetable department and inside the interior of walk-in storage refrigerators/freezers. Again, please complete a thorough cleaning of floors throughout the back of store where the grey/black organic build-up is observable & going forward, please ensure more thorough and more frequent cleaning of floors throughout Nesters Market. It is understood that a private janitorial company may be providing cleaning services for the affected areas. Please review cleaning procedures and equipment used with any selected janitorial company to ensure that expected levels of sanitation are achieved on a daily, weekly and monthly basis.

      • Observation(s): No foodsafe certified staff were on duty at the time of inspection. Please ensure that additional Nesters Marked staff receive foodsafe training to ensure that at least one certified staff member is on duty at all times during operation.

    • F2.5 Are the premises and equipment properly maintained and operated in a sanitary manner (i.e. ongoing maintenance)?
      • Observation(s): As noted at the time of last inspection, an organic build-up was noted on the floor in the back storage area between the vegetable department and the meat department (ie, the floor surface at the back of the store adjacent to storage shelving). Please unclutter this back storage area and complete a thorough cleaning of the affected floor in a manner that removes organic build-up and provides for a clean floor surface.
    • F2.7 Are there handwashing stations available and properly supplied?
      • Observation(s): The paper towel dispenser located in the vegetable processing area was observed empty at the time of inspection. Please ensure that all facility hand washing sinks are stocked with liquid soap and paper towel at all times during operation. Please reinforce proper hand washing practices with staff that includes the use of liquid soap and paper towel.

    • F2.5 Are the premises and equipment properly maintained and operated in a sanitary manner (i.e. ongoing maintenance)?
      • Observation(s): As discussed, please complete a deep cleaning of floors in the back of store storage area, meat department processing room and deli walk-in refrigerator to remove organic build-up observed at the time of inspection. Please also post cleaning procedures for the meat department & meat-grinder.
    • F2.7 Are there handwashing stations available and properly supplied?
      • Observation(s): Observed a cart in-front of the veggie department hand washing sink and, the meat department hand washing sink was occupied with a bag of cloths being stored within the sink basin. Please ensure that store hand washing sinks are maintained in an uncluttered condition and available at all times during operation for routine hand washing by veggie and meat department staff.

    I stopped at this store last Friday on my way home from work. They were very busy, and short staffed. There were only 2 young men looking after the whole store, deli, cash, customer service etc. Most people would be flustered, but these 2 men stayed composed, were very friendly, and super efficient. I was very impressed with their service .

    Service a 4 overall I find but the prices are pretty heavy and for a location out of the way for me to come to and try and support today to make sure they get business. I am not that close as am up Dilworth area. Am closer to Freshco. Anyways just a suggestion to have some sales on crackers and chips and etc. Either no sale or just 50 cents off and limited variety.
