      • There is a pop syrup spill under the pop bibs, against the back wall. Slushy machine contains a few spills underneath. Nacho meat crumbs were stuck under the nacho dispensing station. Nacho dispenser was cleaned and sanitized during inspection. Thoroughly clean and sanitize all sugar and food spills to prevent attracting pests.

      • Hot dog and chili dog toppings are left open during the day and left out at night, with prescribed discard times of 24 to 72 hours. This station is the only open food near where the cockroach was sighted. Instructed manager and staff to discard the toppings and replace with newly opened toppings, and to cover and store the toppings in the cooler at night. This task was completed.
    • 16. Is the facility free of unapproved animals, vermin and/or insects (unless noted elsewhere), and maintained to prevent the entry or harbourage of pests?
      • One adult cockroach found under the chili sauce dispenser next to the coffee dump sink. No additional signs observed at this time. Monthly pest control records do not indicate cockroach sightings in recent months. Pest control work order created at the time of inspection.7 ants were spotted in the office during inspection. Also begin treatment for ants.

      • Dust and debris is accumulating under food counters throughout the store and front serving station. There is a pop syrup spill under the pop bibs, against the back wall. Slushy machine contains a few spills underneath. Nacho meat crumbs were stuck under the nacho dispensing station. Thoroughly clean and sanitize all sugar and food spills, and dust and debris. Sanitation is the number one pest prevention.

      • A grease spill occurred in the kitchen today. Grease is spilled to the wall behind the deep fryer and built up on the edge of the wall divider. There is a sauce spill inside of a line cooler and pop syrup spills beheath the pop bibs. *Thoroughly clean and sanitize the grease and sugar spills.
