- Observation(s): A review of interior dispensing parts in cappuccino machine suggests that cleaning and sanitizing frequency may not be in compliance with manufacturer's instructions or corporate expectations. Please ensure expected processes and frequency are reviewed with staff and compliance with requirements are monitored. Ensure practices for all food processing equipment with specific cleaning requirements comply with manufacturer and corporate level standards.

- F2.4 - Are foods handled in a sanitary manner and protected from contamination?
- Observation(s): Observed motor oil being stored on a shelving unit that also stored packaged food products. Chemicals such as motor oil may be toxic when consumed and should be stored in a separate area than the dry food products. It is recommended to put the oil on the bottom shelf to prevent contamination of products below if it spills. No immediate risk was found, because the packaging below the oil and beside it were well-sealed and slightly separated.
- F2.4D - Chemicals, cleaners and other agents must be properly labeled and stored separately from foods to prevent contamination.
- F3.4 - Are the premises, equipment and utensils designed and maintained to ensure safe and sanitary food handling?
- Observation(s): 1) Observed that the floors in the walk-in freezer, walk-in cooler and cash register/food preparation area had food crumbs and debris in the corners, under equipment and along the floorboards. Please ensure that the floors are clean of debris to prevent the contamination of food, to prevent the harbouring of pests and to reduce the potential for employee slips and falls. 2) Observed a sticky syrup residue on the pop syrup tubes and dispensing bags. This sugary residue can attract flies and other pests. The residue was being cleaned at the time of inspection. (Corrected during inspection) 3) Observed a ceiling tile missing in the dry storage room. This tile should be replaced to prevent the contamination of food product stored below from falling dust and insulation.

- Observation(s): It was observed during inspection that sanitizer spray bottles (Quats sanitizer) were not available for the food store. As discussed, please ensure that spray bottles or buckets containing Quats sanitizer are always available for staff for routine sanitation of all food contact surfaces in the store. Operator was advised to check the concentration of sanitizer with test strips to validate required levels are being used.

Very well stocked store. Clearly a very busy store too! Only saw one staff member but the shelves looked organized and the bathroom was quite clean. Slurpee machines and other drink stations in good working order. Would likely stop here again on the next road trip!

Was enjoying stopping in regularly over the years but now I live here, and I absolutely feel the other comment about only one pleasant employee. I’ll be switching up my routine now as a result — maybe the bad vibe employees are just passively warning customers. But something up.

Bought the chicken,wedges and corn dog at late night a few days ago and paid for everyhing. The staff tried to upsell the product nicely and I totally understand but refused friendly. When going back to the hotel, we found the corn dog was missing. It's so late and there is no other restaurant opening...and we were too tired to go back there after a long road trip. Make sure to check the stuff you order before you leave.
