- Discussed where to display emergency equipment (i.e. rescue pole, rescue tube). Ensure the rescue tube has a rope securely attached and is at least 1/2 the width of the pool in length. A longer rope may get tangled.There is an emergency phone located on the pool deck. Post instructions on use and include emergency telephone numbers. Ensure staff are monitoring this emergency phone and documenting this in the daily logs that verify that the emergency phone is functional.
