      • Feb 09: Findings: Couple of ceiling tiles were observed to be missing, including in the OSC room and the children’s bathroom.All missing ceiling tiles must be replaced to ensure surfaces are intact, cleanable, and maintained in good repair. The sink in the younger toddler room had exposed wood around the sink area. The exposed wood must be properly sealed or painted with a non‑porous, cleanable finish to prevent water absorption and allow for effective cleaning and sanitation.

      • The hand wash station in the baby room had run out of soap. The soap dispenser was refilled at the time of inspection.
    • 30. Are workers washing hands when appropriate and/or in a proper manner?
      • A staff member was observed not washing their hands after assisting a child with a diaper change. This concern was discussed with the operator, who reported that the staff member is new and currently undergoing training. The operator stated that all staff will be reminded and educated on proper hand hygiene practices.

      • Some electrical outlets in the facility were missing protective caps. The missing caps were replaced by the operator during inspection.

      • A play mat in the toddlers 2 room had worn out with exposed foam material, making it not easy clean. The operator discarded the mat during inspection.

      • Glass cleaner is observed in younger toddler room stored along with bleach solution used for diaper pad. Operator is advised to store all chemicals in storage room. Operator removed it at the time of inspection.Unlabeled chemicals are observed in some places. Operator removed them at the time of inspection. Operator is advised to label all chemicals and store them in a safe area away from children. Supply room entry is provided from OSC room and door to the supply room in open. Operator is advised to always keep the supply room locked. Two trays of toys and soap water are observed in Kinder room. Operator is advised to wash the toys away from children's areas. Operator removed these trays at the time of inspection.Germinix RTU cleaner solution is stored along bleach solution in Infant room. Operator is advised to store cleaning supplies away from children's area. Operator removed it at the time of inspection.Sharp pins are used on notice board in Kinder room. Operator is advised to use safe options to stick stickers on notice board as sharp pins may fall and cause injury to children.
