Alligator Pie Catering

Our family had used Alligator Pie many times over the years for family gatherings, weddings, and memorials. Every time we’ve had an opportunity to work with Erin and Patrick they have somehow exceeded expectations. We will continue to recommend them for anyone in the Nelson area looking for a fabulous caterer!

Pat was great today- explaining the freezer meals and getting us all set-up to buy in bulk and try each one. The Korean Chicken and Jumbalaya were out first tries. Absolutely delicious! Each freezer meals will be plenty for two of us to both have a full meal. Pretty great value! Will be going back for more once these run out!

We used Alligator services for a wedding held in Nelson at my mum and dad’s house! I cannot describe how good their services were, the food was absolutely incredible for a catering service you simple cannot ask for better! The team that came were amazing, friendly and helpful, and respectful! Single handed the best catering service I’ve ever had the pleasure of their services! Big respect to Pat and the team, if you are on the fence with services don’t be they are worth every penny ❤️

We booked Alligator Pie for our wedding without having ever tried it… only went off of peoples recommendations and reviews and we’re so glad we booked them! The food was so amazing and the staff was professional and helpful. Our venue did not have a kitchen and they were able to adapt and use their food truck to still prepare a delicious meal. We received many compliments from guests and I would book them again.

Special thanks to Alligator Pie for a fantastic rehearsal and ceremony meal. Everyone enjoyed and complimented the food, the quality and presentation was fabulous. We will absolutely recommend you guys to anyone who wants trouble free, great quality food options and friendly service. Thanks for helping make our special day so memorable.

Alligator Pie provided catering for our mum's celebration of life in Nelson. We could not be happier with the quality of the food and the amazing customer service. Everyone at the event commented that the food was really fantastic - the best catered food that they had ever tasted! On top of that, our interactions with Alligator Pie leading up to the event were seamless. They were consistently super prompt in responding to messages, helpful in deciding on a menu, and delivered the food right on time. Honestly, I'd give this company 10 stars if I could. The only down side is that I think I may be addicted to their creme brulee cheesecake squares :)

Best original recipes and gourmet catering around. If you are lucky enough to snag them for your event you will not be disappointed. Absolutely fantastic food and staff. 100% recommended.

Absolutely top-rate, start to finish. Great communication, interesting menu, vegan friendly, great folks who were on time, affordable...and AMAZING food, fresh and tasty and so very interesting! Best of all, the deserts are tres bonne (especially the chocolate-peanut butter one!). Many thanks to Alligator Pie...we'll be seeing you again!
