      • The staff stated that the semi-critical equipment/tools were being dried with paper towel after cleaning process. **Ensure all equipment/tools are air dried only.

      • **Outstanding**PREempt CS20 was expired in February 2026. **Please acquire PREempt CS20 with a valid expiry date immediately.

Staff said they were cleaning and disinfecting the drill bits with alcohol.**Please do not use alcohol to clean reusable nail tools as it will not kill all the harmful bacteria.**Please use low level disinfectant if using sanding bands (covers) for drill bits. 2. Staff stated that semi-critical equipment/tools were not being rinsed with water after the disinfection process.**Ensure semi-critical equipment/tools are always rinsed after disinfection to prevent any chemical burns on the client's skin.

      • **Corrected**1. Germicide 256 Diluted spray bottle (Low level disinfectant) was expired in June 2023. - The staff acquired a Lysol disinfectant spray bottle during the inspection.2. Semi-critical equipment/tools were not fully submerged in CS20. -The staff added more CS20 solution to the container to fully submerge the tools. **Ensure all semi-critical equipment/tools are fully submerged in the high-level disinfectant during reprocessing.
