      • Chlorine sanitizer solution bucket adjacent to the front hand sink tested less than 100 ppm concentration. Ensure that the sanitizing solution concertation is tested between 100-200ppm range.**A new solution of chlorine sanitizer was made and tested satisfactory during the inspection.

      • Chlorine test strips were found in a container with no expiry date to confirm validity at the time of inspection. Valid test strips are required to accurately verify that the chlorine concentration is within the required range of 100 - 200 ppm.***Please obtain verifiable test strips with an expiry date.

      • 1/23. There was a container of cooked pasta noodles on the by the soup hot holding. The insert of pasta noodles was kept on ice. The measured temperature of the pasta noodles was 18C. Ensure that the container is fully immersed in an ice bath or keep the pasta noodles in the fridge in order to keep them at a temperature of 4C or lower.The pasta noodles were discarded. A fresh container of pasta noodles was moved to the fridge by the hot holding.

      • There was a container of strawberries in the cooler that were mouldy. These were discarded during time of inspection.

      • Violation (Outstanding): The cooler had a measured temperature of 7.4C. All perishable items (i.e., milk) were moved to another cooler. Reduce temperature of the cooler and monitor to ensure it can maintain a temperature of 4C or lower. Store all perishable items in another cooler until the mini fridge has been fixed. The ambient air temperature of the mini fridge next to the ice machine was 8C. Reduce temperature of the fridge so that it can maintain an ambient air temperature of 4C or lower. Monitor the temperature of the fridge. If it is unable to maintain a temperature of 4C or lower, the unit must be repaired.
