This restaurant is actually aot better than I expected! The ingredients are picked very uniquely from places that will give you the real authentic taste of Greek food. And, make sure to try the desert, cause it is actually importanted from Greece. Very hard working and genuine owners that actually are face to face with their clients.

After inviting us in even though we arrived a few minutes early, the service stayed incredible throughout our dinner. It felt like true pride was taken in their dishes, through their care, presentation, and of course the taste! Although a small restaurant space, it added to personal experience feeling. Will definitely be returning soon.

This is a cute business in a small downtown. But the food portion is huge. I had Roast lamb here, got plenty of rice, a huge chunk of meat, tasty pita, and delicious salad. Not sure what the owners magic is but the salad was better than the meat The meal is not on a cheap side but given the location I felt it is reasonable. overall, loved it

Cute little restaurants run by amazingly warm and friendly husband and wife. We came as tired new parents looking for something yummy to get us through the day our 3 month baby woke up mid meal and the woman ( I wish I asked her name) held our baby and carried him around the restaurant while we ate ahe talked to him and kept him happy all while maintaining amazing service to us even noticing I ran out of tzatziki and brought me more we even stayed and had desert because we could. Amazing service snd great meal I cant wait to go back!

It was a hot day—31 degrees C—when we dropped into this charming Greek restaurant. The friendly owner seated us immediately and served us attentively. Parking was in a paid dusty lot down the side alley—street parking is extremely limited. The food arrived in a timely fashion and was very fresh. My wife mentioned that the Greek salad with chicken shawarma she special-requested was the best salad she has ever had. I had an equally impressive Caesar Salad. The Chicken Shawarma plate my son ordered was excellent but the portion was too small. My wife and other son mentioned that their portion was too small as well. For that I am giving the four stars to food that really deserves five stars for good flavour. The restaurant AC was not running when we arrived. The other customers requested it, and the owner quickly complied. On a hot day it would have been best to get the AC on early. For that the service lost one star. The atmosphere was excellent but the restaurant is very small. The bathrooms were clean.

I was just saying last year that salmon arm needed a Greek restaurant. This place is great! Loved everything we ordered and the prices were on point! Thank you for a great evening and dinner! We enjoyed the calamari, dolmades, chicken souvlaki, Greek salad, Cesar salad, pitas, and lamb. The Greek rice and potatoes were perfection. The service was very friendly and loved the ambience! We will be back!

Stopped by Ambrosia Grill Taverna in Salmon Arm for dinner, and it did not disappoint! I had the roast chicken, and honestly, it was one of the best I’ve ever had, juicy, perfectly seasoned, and full of flavours. The atmosphere was cozy, and the staff was super friendly and welcoming. Everything felt relaxed and enjoyable, making it a great spot for a nice meal. If you’re in the area, definitely worth checking out. I would love to back for sure!

Had a one night stop over in Salmon Arm with the family and wanted to try something other than pasta and burgers. We came across this little gem of a spot, and we are happy we did. Located on a nice quiet street, it's a quaint little joint, some great family seating inside, and an outside dining area has been set up, which is better for couples. Walking into the establishment, you are immedyhit by wonderful, delicious aromas. We couldn't wait to get going. One of the great things that stood out is that the menu isn't large, but has a great selection of choices. We started with calamari, and the mushroom soup. The soup was very tasty, not overly salty and had a deep flavour. It smelled great when itarrived at the table. The calamari was also very delicious. Instead of squid rings, the calamari is done as strips, this allows the squid to be the star. The batter wasn't caked on, and it was very light and crispy. An excellent starter. We then ordered the beef moussaka, roast lamb, beef keftedes, and a tabbouleh salad with shrimp. The moussaka was amazing, with a deep rich beefy and nutty flavour, paired with the sauce and rice, made for very satisfying bites. The keftedes were also amazing, very tender and soft, I like some grilled meats from similar faires. The tabbouleh salad was also super satisfying. A lot of tabbouleh salads I've had in the past have always been too sour, overly seasoned with lemon juice. This salad however, was very well balanced, and delivered on bite. And finally the roast lamb, what a dish! So soft that the bone came right out with any resistance. Again, full nutty lamb flavour in every bite, paired with the house tzatiki sauce, rice and Greek potato, it was heaven on a plate. Highly recommend this dish. The portions here are very generous as well, and again, I stress that the flavour here is too notch in everything we ordered. Service was also amazing, super friendly and willing to give us great recommendations, not just for the food, but for things do see and do in the local area. He recommended that we check out the wharf after dinner, about a 9 min walk, and we took his advice. It made for a great end to the evening. The facilities are well stocked and clean, and there is plenty of street parking. If you are ever looking for a great vibe and great eats, don't skip Ambrosia Taverna. You can tell that they have immense pride in what they do and serve. My family had an amazing time and will visit again in the future.

Had our staff dinner here and everyone enjoyed their meals (I had the chicken slouvaki). The portions were decent, the staff attentive, and the space pretty (a little cramped, but not bad). We all agreed we were happy to have a Greek option back in town and would visit again.
