      • Written procedure templates for skin cleansing were provided during the inspection but not completed. No written procedures were present or provided applying antiseptic or aftercare. Please complete the written procedures required for the services offered.
    • 20. Is reusable equipment disinfected properly?
      • Alcohol was present for use as a disinfectant on non-porous surfaces. Please use at a minimum a low-level disinfectant for wiping off the handle of the Dr. Pen and facial wands. Wipe surfaces twice (once to remove oils/lotions/dirt and the second to disinfect the clean surface). Recommend an intermediate level disinfectant for this purpose. These often have a shorter contact time. Ensure the contact time noted on the product label is followed for proper disinfection to occur.
