      • Hand sink had been relocated to more accessible location, but did not have hot water. Ensure hand sink has hot and cold running water.

      • There was no paper towel available at hand sink when inspector arrived. It was restocked during the inspection. Ensure hand sink is kept stocked with soap and paper towel at all times.

      • Ceiling tiles above walk in cooler had been removed. Replace ceiling tiles. *Cited again February 9, 2026

      • There was a rug at back door where dry food storage area is. Remove rug as it cannot be easily cleaned.

    • 08. Do food handlers ensure that food is protected from contamination (unless noted elsewhere)(Non-Critical)?
      • 1. Scoop in flour bin in kitchen was dirty. It was removed during the inspection.2. Scoop for ice machine was stored directly on top of ice. It was removed and placed into container beside ice machine. Ensure scoops are stored in a manner that prevents contamination and are cleaned and sanitized regularly.

      • 1. A box of ginger was stored directly on floor at back of restaurant. Ensure all food is stored off of floor.2. Bags of lentils and other dry ingredients were stored in open bags in dry storage room. Ensure all bags are covered or sealed to prevent contamination.
    • 09. Are chemicals stored and handled in a safe manner?
      • Bottles of glass cleaner at bar were not labeled. This was corrected during the inspection. Ensure all bottles are labeled to prevent misuse.

      • Stand up mixer was partially blocking hand sink. Operator has plans to move hand sink to more accessible area. Relocate hand sink or rearrange kitchen so that hand sink is easily accessible from all preparation areas.
    • 16. Is the facility free of unapproved animals, vermin and/or insects (unless noted elsewhere), and maintained to prevent the entry or harbourage of pests?
      • There was a gap in between double doors at back of restaurant. Install weatherstripping to ensure doors close tightly in order to prevent pest entry.

      • 1. Ceiling tiles above walk in cooler had been removed. Replace ceiling tiles. 2. There was a carpet door mat in front of dishwasher. Remove. All surfaces including floors must be smooth, non-porous and easy to clean.
    • 23. Is the facility maintained in a clean and sanitary condition?
      • Cleaning is required in the following areas:- on wall behind burner on cookline- inside prep coolersClean and ensure these areas are added to a regular cleaning schedule.
