2547 Hebert Rd West Kelowna BC V4T 2J6 · Child Care - Licensing

Inspection summary

Angels Academy Childcare Centre has been inspected 7 times by Interior Health Authority since March 2, 2020. The most recent inspection, on October 15, 2025, found no infractions.

5 of 7 inspections on record found no infractions at all. No inspections are on record from the past 12 months. All recorded findings relate to upkeep, equipment or paperwork rather than direct health risks.

The last 2 inspections in a row found no infractions. The number of infractions per inspection has stayed roughly the same over time.

What these findings mean

Health authorities word their findings differently, so we group them by what they mean for the people in care. Higher-risk findings are the ones that could directly make someone sick, and they matter more here because young children, older adults and people who are unwell are more vulnerable to infection.

  • Permits, records and postingLower risk

Operating permits, required signage, written procedures and logs. These findings are administrative: the documentation was missing or out of date at the time of inspection.

Recorded once on January 4, 2023. For example: 1 - Are facility records current and complete?

  • Building, plumbing and upkeepLower risk

Floors, walls and ceilings must be clean and in good repair, with working lighting, ventilation, plumbing, hot and cold water, and washrooms. These are rarely an immediate health risk on their own, but persistent problems can lead to pest or sanitation issues.

Recorded once on September 22, 2021. For example: 1 - Is the facility safe, sanitary, free from hazards, in good repair, and appropriate for the age and development of children?
