- Written procedures for skin cleansing, applying antiseptic and accidental injuries were not available. - Record all lot numbers and expiry dates of pre-sterilized items used on the client with their client record.
- 21. Is equipment that is intended to be sterile maintained sterile at the point of use?
- Pre-packaged sterile ear-piercing cartridges were not labeled with lot numbers. Do not use any pre-sterilized numbers that do not have lot numbers or expiration dates.
- 32. Are general nuisance conditions, other than those noted in other violations, being prevented at this personal services facility (Critical)?
- Plunger style piercing gun available onsite. The operator indicated she has not done any piercing services. The plunger style piercing gun is not cleanable and is prohibited. Discussed approved cartridge style options. Do not offer piercing services until an approved piercing instrument is obtained and approved by this office
