Artisan Bazar and Desire Soup Cafe

Visited Kamloops for work and found this place early in my trip — we ended up coming back 3 times because it was that good. The salad tasted homemade and reminded me of something my mom used to make. The roast beef sandwich was fresh and high quality. The atmosphere was cozy, the vibe was great, and the staff were always very friendly. Easily one of the best places we tried in Kamloops.

Pretty good place some some small artisan gifts, doubling as a cafe and soup shop, they have many varieties of soup and sometimes at the end they may run out of certain varieties, be sure to check it out! Service is great, no comments, it's a order at the till and they serve you style Atmosphere gives half of a gift shop and half of a regular cafe, interesting layout but good nonetheless!

I was looking for a cafe to sit and get some work done today. Somewhere with minimal distractions and a tasty light meal. Francesco understood the assignment. I had a bowl of delicious India soup and felt completely comfortable taking up a table with my laptop for a couple of hours to deeply focus. Plus I was able to browse all of the handmade goodies afterward. It was a delicious and charming experience.

I’ve been coming here for lunch weekly for the past year and a half, and it’s honestly one of my favorite spots 🖤 The owners are absolutely the best, so thoughtful and kind, they remember our names, and even try to have our favorites on the menu when we come in. They also have a great selection of locally made products, and the whole space has such a welcoming, comfortable vibe. Highly recommend!

In Film production we eat a ton of sandwiches and I have never received such positive feedback from the crew. Quality ingredients and fantastic bread. Will definitely recommend to other production companies and will be back next time I am in town.

Collection of locally hand-made pottery, art, soaps, and authentic Italian caffeination that tastes far better than the imitations at your standard coffee shop. The pricing is very reasonable. Around $70 CAD (including tip) for a hand made mug, a magnet set, two large lattes, and a larger than expected cup of soup with freshly baked bread. Certainly worth a stop!

Owner is very nice and my turkey lettuce wrap was great. I appreciate that the owner only uses natural and high quality fresh food. Great gluten free options here! I will be coming back :)

We were visiting from vancouver and stopped in for a quick look. There is a wonderful variety of local crafts and artwork. We also enjoyed a roasted eggplant panini and a porchetta panini. The staff was friendly, the coffee was spot on, and the prices were reasonable. It's definitely worth the stop!
