   • C7.1 - Is the facility safe, sanitary, free from hazards, in good repair, and appropriate for the age and development of children?
     • Observation(s): Review of the physical space found these hazards accessible to children: • The basement door, though off-limits and supposed to be locked, was unlocked. • Child safety equipment for preventing access under the kitchen sink is in place but not closed, allowing access to stored cleaners. Securing these areas is essential to prevent harm and protect children from accidents. The Site Manager addressed both hazards during the inspection, and the system for ensuring safety checks and staff monitoring was discussed. Corrected during inspection.
