- Observation: Scale deposits were found in ice machine. Candy residues found near the cotton candy machine. (Public Health significance) - Scales and food residues can harbor or promote the growth of pathogens, contaminating foods.
- Corrective Action: Operator to ensure equipment is free from scale deposits and food residues at all times.
- 306 - Food premises not maintained in a sanitary condition [s. 17(1)]
- Observation: (CORRECTED DURING INSPECTION) Dust accumulated on the vent opening in storage room. Side cover of the slurry machine was missing. (Public Health significance) - Dust can harbor pathogens that might fall on food or equipment, such as cotton candy machine, potentially contaminating the food. Surface of all equipment should be smooth and non-absorbent to allow easy cleaning.
- Corrective Action: Operator to clean and keep all the vents from dust accumulation. Operator to cover the side of the slurry machine properly.
