My elder and I both had the steak sandwich. It was absolutely delicious, service was great and the price was great. The only problem was the amount of cologne our server had on. Too strong, and was hard to enjoy my food.

We visited Barside for the first time on Sunday morning, and Daniela made our experience amazing! She was very friendly and knowledgeable about the menu. Her recommendations were great, and we really enjoyed our breakfast. We’ll definitely be back for buffet day and hope to see Daniela again. She’s an excellent server

I was super lucky to have won a GC at the last NSBIA mixer. My partner and I went for a late lunch today, and the food was delicious. He got the steak sandwich and I had the chicken club; we both had potato bacon soup as a side. When I tell you that was the best potato bacon soup I've ever had, I'm not exaggerating! You can definitely tell it's scratch-made in house. Our server was super sweet, too. Would definitely recommend!

Disappointed with the service last night. The staff member with the white-blonde hair came across as irritated and unprofessional throughout the interaction. It made what should’ve been a simple visit uncomfortable; customers shouldn’t feel like an inconvenience for choosing to support a business. Hoping management addresses this.

I’ve come to the restaurant a few times now and the food is always good, the staff is so nice, and it’s just a good place to spend some time. Glad to have a restaurant like this in the neighbourhood

Best eggs benedict in town. My server was Daniela and she was awesome, very polite and friendly. She gave us good food recommendations and also told us about restaurants daily promotions

  • Melanie Hill

Restaurant was fairly empty when we were there. Service was excellent. Food is good, drinks also good. Nice to be able to socialize with friends.

Take your Chances at Barside Lounge and Grill Went to Barside Lounge and Grill finally. It was pretty good, but not what I was expecting for a Red Seal Chef. I think he/she was off shift maybe. The flatbread looked awesome. Lots of yummy toppings and good height but cold in the middle. Wings were on special. We asked about the Extreme heat wings and decided to try them. They were so hot we couldn't eat them. 🤷 I had the fish n chips and they were good. Excess of panko batter and a touch overdone, but light and flaky fish inside. The casino environment is not my thing so I felt like I was in jail trying to find the restaurant. Not good signage. 🤷 Service was decent. Since I've heard people rave about this place, I will go back to see if my experience was an anomaly.
