- Facility procedures were not revised as needed since 2023. Skin cleansing procedure for waxing was noted onsite from 2023, even this is no longer provided at the facility. Procedures were reviewed with operator onsite. Complete written procedures for skin cleansing for facials and microneedling services, Use of antiseptic procedure for microneedling.

- Bowls used in facial services were reportedly being disinfected using 70-90% alcohol. Operator was educated onsite. Alcohol is not a disinfectant unless the container has disinfectant claim, a DIN (drug identification number) and contain manufacture instructions for use (contact time), How to Select right Disinfectant AHS resource was reviewed with operator onsite.PreEmpt (intermediate level disinfectant) wipes with 3minutes contact time were observed in the facility. Operator was advised to use a low-level disinfectant to disinfect the non-critical equipment such as bowls. An intermediate level disinfectant is recommended. Follow manufacturer instruction for use for each disinfectant.
