Best Western Plus Kelowna Hotel & Suites

We stayed at Bestwestern Plus Kelowna Hotel & Suites. It is a large hotel, much larger than the typical Bestwestern in most towns. We were happy we were assigned a non-tower room as we heard some room in the tower had mold issues. There was free coffee and hot/cold water at all times near the lobby. Check in staff were friendly and helpful with food suggestions nearby. We dined at Joey and Cactus Club Café (both were great) within 10 minute walk from the hotel. The room was larger than average in size, nicely furnished, with a clean, modern look, and came with a fridge, coffeemaker and 2 comfortable Queen beds. The washbasin was outside of the large bathroom. Free complementary hot and cold breakfast was served from 7am to 10am. Breakfast included bread, choice of 3 cereals with milk, cut fruits (cantaloups, honeydews and pineapples), sausage and hardboiled eggs, cooked oats (with cranberry and granola toppings), and make your own waffles. There’s a EV charging station beside and behind the hotel. The only complaint was I was awakened at 7am but loud sounds and vibrations from either the heater or air-conditioner running above my unit, It lasted for over 15 mins and went away for a few minutes before returning again for another 15 mins and kept me awake.

Spent the night before in a terrible motel, decided the rest of my trip I would at least feel safe to sleep so picked this hotel which trip advisor rated as one of the best in Kelowna. I don’t disagree! The free breakfast was a great touch, the room clean, fresh smelling, well maintained and quiet. The bed comfortable and very clean. Will return here every time I’m in Kelowna and will favour best western in other cities too.

My mother in law and auntie stayed with you last weekend. They absolutely loved their stay. The hotel had everything they needed. But the best part of their stay was the staff. My mother in law lost her hearing aid in her room and two young members of the staff did everything they could to help her find it…they were so courteous and helpful that they are so impressed and grateful. They will be back. Thank you for looking after them!

Our family stayed in this hotel but we won't be coming back. Although the room was fine, a few things happened that made our stay uncomfortable. One night I was in the pool and after I swam for a while I noticed there were no towels. There were no staff around so I waited 30 minutes until I flagged someone down and asked him to find someone to help me. I waited another 20 minutes and a staff member finally came but without a towel. She went to find someone else so I waited another 20 minutes until I finally got a towel. That was crazy! The free breakfast was fine, but when we went back in the evening to the restaurant it was a bar. My son being 16 wasn't allowed in so they put us down the hall in a big room with little light and just us there. It was super weird. Once in a while the server would come down there but we didn't enjoy it at all. It's run down and needs a reno too. And lastly, the baseball teams were there and invaded the pool a good part of the time we were there. Staff tried to get the security to come and deal with it but it was just too much. I counted 30 kids in that pool and it was a nightmare dealing with them and their parents.

Great hotel actually, comfortable beds and pillows, centralized, location, lots of amenities around… The only thing that was a bit of a negative would be the pub attached to the hotel was extremely overpriced for low quality food. There is a 15% discount but does not make up the difference as far as value goes. Staff was really helpful and accommodating, I would definitely stay there again! Great value

Not a bad place. Location is good, easy walking distance to many retail outlets. Was disappointed in the on-site restaurant as it was advertised as family friendly but we were denied entry on my wife's birthday because we had two teenagers. Instead we had to get take out and eat at the lobby. Pool is a pool, hot tub was hot, room was as expected Breakfast buffet is tiny but adequate. Would rank this place slightly above average. Front desk staff were friendly which helped but certainly nothing fantastic.

I stayed 4 nights at this Hotel( September 21-24). The room that I was checked in was the worst that I’ve ever seen. It was not properly cleaned and had visible Mould on ceiling tile above bathtub. Visible pieces of hair and dirt could easily be seen. I advise potential guests to be aware of unsanitary conditions that they may experience. I won’t recommend this hotel to anyone.
