    • 10. Is a properly supplied first aid kit provided and readily available?
      • Firefly Room:Expired benzalkonium chloride wipes were found in the first aid kit. Inspect all first aid kits and replace any expired items.

      • Lady bug Room:Mouse droppings were observed on the washroom floor. Clean and disinfect all affected areas using a bleach solution

      • The exit door leading to the playground has a gap that could allow pests to enter the facility. Repair or replace the weather stripping on the door to eliminate the gap

    • 10. Is a properly supplied first aid kit provided and readily available?
      • First aid kit in the Lady Bug room had some expired items. Gloves appeared to be dirty. Supplies in first aid kits need to be reviewed and updated as necessary. At least one CSA #2 kit is required to be in the centre.
    • 17. Is the facility and equipment being maintained in a suitable manner (Critical)?
      • Butterfly Room** The water fountain was covered with a cloth that is not easily cleanable. A cleanable or easily replaceable solution should be installed over the water fountain if you wish to prevent use. A long term solution could be removal of the fountain.
    • 32. Are general nuisance conditions, other than those noted in other violations, being prevented at this child care facility (Non-Critical)?
      • FireFly Room** Diapering was located in the middle of the room between the hand sink in the bathroom and the covered garbage by the other hand sink. Please ensure that the diapering is area is set up to that the process minimizes risk of contamination with other surfaces in the room. Diapering should be nearby a hand sink and covered garbage.Butterfly Room** Bleach spray bottle in the bathroom was not properly operational
