      • Sign of water leakage was observed on the ceiling in the classroom 2.-Please investigate and repair any water leakage to prevent growth of mould and replace the affected ceiling tile(s).

      • Glass jars within the reach of children were observed in classroom 3.-Please ensure all glass jars are kept out of reaching of children to prevent risk of injury in an event of breakage. Glass jars should only be accessed to children under staff supervision.

      • 1. Glass jars within the reach of children were observed in classroom 3.-Please ensure all glass jars are kept out of reaching of children to prevent risk of injury in an event of breakage. Glass jars should only be accessed to children under staff supervision.2. Long tangling wire was observed in classroom 4.-Please keep all tangling wires out of children reach to prevent risk of entanglement. This was corrected during the inspection.

      • Diapering station with peeling paint exposing raw wood was observed in classroom 3.-Please repair the diapering station to ensure proper cleaning and sanitizing of the diapering surface.
    • 20. Are indoor play areas and equipment sufficient and being properly maintained to ensure client safety (Non-Critical)?
      • 1. Dirty toy containers were noted in classrooms1 and 2.-Please clean toy containers to maintain sanitary condition.2. The sensory bottles were taped with multiple layers of clear tape making them harder to clean/disinfect properly. -Please ensure that the bottles are visibly clean. Advised to use hot glue.
    • 22. Is the plumbing system adequate and being properly maintained (Non-Critical)?
      • Hot water temperature was measured between 26 and 29 degrees Celsius at most daycare handwashing sinks.-Please adjust and maintained hot water temperature between 38-43 degrees Celsius to ensure proper handwashing process.
    • 32. Are general nuisance conditions, other than those noted in other violations, being prevented at this child care facility (Non-Critical)?
      • Children water bottles were noted without name labels.-Please ensure children water bottles are labeled with their names.

      • Several wooden tables throughout the facility have raw wood exposed. Ensure these are resurfaced or replaced.
    • 09. Are properly operating hand washing sink(s) available in suitable location(s), and properly stocked with handwashing supplies?
      • Facility is re-using single use towels for hand washing. Ensure towels are washed after one use.
    • 20. Are indoor play areas and equipment sufficient and being properly maintained to ensure client safety (Non-Critical)?
      • 1. Operators were mixing soap and bleach together when disinfecting toys. Ensure soap and water wash step is separate from the bleach disinfectant step as soap can degrade bleach rendering not effective. 2. A star pillow in the baby room was in disrepair. Repair or discard.
