    • 08. Is this facility properly constructed (Non-Critical)?
      • -The side of the handwashing sink counter in Room 5 (Pre-school Room) was water damaged. Please ensure it is repaired so that it is smooth and easy to clean.-The sink in Room 2 had separated from the wall and the remaining wall was damaged. Please repair.
    • 27. Are proper measures being taken to ensure that vermin do not enter or exist in the facility (Non-Critical)?
      • -Additional weatherstripping needed at the front entrance door to prevent the entry of pests

      • - The staircase leading to the upstairs staff room did not have a protective guard. Please ensure a protective guard is installed in case of falls. (outstanding since last inspection)

      • -Floor covering in Room 5 as well as the Pre-school Room was in disrepair. Please repair.

      • -Chemicals were stored accessible to children. Please secure or move out of children's reach-The OSC Room had missing safety plug covers. Please install plug covers-There was paint in the OSC Room that did not have a non-toxic label. Ensure all craft supplies have a non-toxic label- The staircase leading to the upstairs staff room did not have a protective guard. Please ensure a protective guard is installed in case of falls

      • -The diaper table in Room 2 needs to be located next to a designated hand sink. Please move.- The diaper mat in the Room 4 washroom was torn. Please replace.-The diaper mat in Room 3 had a tear. Please replace.
    • 10. Is a properly supplied first aid kit provided and readily available?
      • -First aid supplies (ex. alcohol swabs) were expired and supplies needed to be updated to meet new requirements.
    • 15. Is laundry being properly handled in a suitable manner?
      • -A used cloth was observed on top of a Bleach spray bottle. Ensure single use disposable towels are used
    • 18. Is the facility and equipment being maintained in a suitable manner (Non-Critical)?
      • -Floor covering in Room 4 as well as the Pre-school Room was in disrepair. Please repair.

      • -Please ensure all chemicals are labelled-Please ensure all expired chemicals are removed from the facility
