      • -The Food Handling Permit posted at the front sales counter is expired (expired May 31, 2025). The updated permit, valid until May 31, 2026, was not posted.-The operator was instructed to print and post the updated Food Handling Permit in a location clearly visible to the public.

      • -Dust/salt buildup was observed on the interior top surface of the ice-making machine.-The ice machine must be thoroughly cleaned and sanitized to maintain a sanitary condition and prevent contamination of ice.

    • 10. Are food temperatures during storage and processing being controlled to maximize food safety?
      • Yes (corrected during inspection) - the sliding door refrigeration unit at the front service area was at an ambient temperature of 10-12 degrees Celsius, with some milk products stored inside (which were removed and placed into a functional refrigeration unit in main kitchen area). All freezer units were at range of -14 to -18 degrees Celsius (with stored foods frozen solid).The operator is to ensure this refrigeration unit is examined by a licensed technician prior to use for any perishable food products, and to be functional at 4 degrees Celsius, or lower (though soda pop and other similar non-perishable food products can be stored inside this refrigeration unit - with staff to read all food product labels regarding refrigeration requirements prior to storing food/beverage items).Also, staff are to continue with daily food safety temperature monitoring, and recording on a checklist/log (with all records kept for a period of 90 days).
