      • There is a build up of debris in the following areas:Cheese area1. Cheese slicer arm.Produce area2. Mould, mildew residual and produce debris all throughout the store floor customer product cooler.3. Under large wall shelving in the product corridor. 4. On and under produce cooler pallets.Bakery5.       • The paper towel dispenser at the deli hand wash sink was empty.Ensure that all hand wash sinks are stocked with handwashing supplies at all times.

      • - Some mouse droppings were observed in the deli. The droppings were found on the floor near the deep fryer and ovens, and under the dishwashing sinks and handwashing sink.- Three mice were observed in a pest monitoring trap in the deli.Safely clean up mouse droppings. Monitor for further activity.

      • A garbage can was being used as a table. A sheet tray was on the garbage can, and a staff member was placing raw sausages on Styrofoam trays onto the sheet tray.Do not use garbage cans as tables. The sheet tray was removed from the garbage can, sanitized, and then placed in an appropriate location.

      • There was evidence of a rodent infestation; Mouse droppings were observed on and in single use packaging, on shelving, in storage containers, in cupboards, on unused baking sheet trays, on ledges in the back of the bakery, underneath the three compartment dishwashing sinks and handwashing sink, and on floors throughout the bakery. Mice were observed in pest monitoring traps in the bakery department.- Continue assessments and treatment with the retained professional pest control company to eliminate the mouse infestation. - Remove and safely dispose of mouse droppings.- Clean and disinfect all surfaces, utensils and/or equipment contaminated by mouse excrement. Disinfected food contact surfaces must be rinsed with potable water following disinfection. - Discard all food and single-use food containers contaminated or potentially contaminated by mouse activity or excrement.

      • The most recent pest monitoring report was not available for review. Ensure that pest monitoring/ control reports for the facility are maintained and available for review upon request by a Public Health Inspector/ Executive Officer of Alberta Health Services.
