    • 05. Are communicable diseases at this facility being properly managed?
      • The enhanced chlorine solution prepared measured 500ppm. 1000ppm chlorine is required during a GI outbreak.- 1000ppm chlorine to be mixed and used on surfaces and toys. Mouthed toys to be rinsed with water after 1000ppm chlorine is applied. 100ppm chlorine to remain in use in the kitchen.
    • 09. Are properly operating hand washing sink(s) available in suitable location(s), and properly stocked with handwashing supplies?
      • The handwashing sink in Room 9 beside the diapering station:1) Was not stocked with soap.2) Was not stocked with paper towel.3) The water was turned off to the sink.4) Staff were storing their personal items on the sink.- Staff items were removed during the inspection, water was turned on to the sink, and the sink was stocked with soap and paper towel. Ensure this sink is operational and stocked when diapering is occurring.
    • 18. Is the facility and equipment being maintained in a suitable manner (Non-Critical)?
      • 1) There was debris accumulation noted under the diapering mat in Room 2.2) There was debris accumulation noted under the diapering mat in Room 9.- Surfaces were cleaned during the inspection. Ensure surfaces are routinely cleaned.

    • 18. Is the facility and equipment being maintained in a suitable manner (Non-Critical)?
      • The diapering mat in Room 2 and Room 3 had small tears in the plastic material exposing the underlying foam and making the surface hard to clean.-> Two new diapering mats were onsite during the inspection. Corrected
    • 22. Is the plumbing system adequate and being properly maintained (Non-Critical)?
      • The handwashing sink in the bathroom of Room 8 had insufficient hot water as it measured 16C at the time of inspection.-> 36 to 43C recommended at the handwashing sinks.
