    • 03. Are clients at this facility being protected from hazards (Critical)?
      • An unlabelled cleaning solution was stored in an unlocked cabinet underneath the sink in the preschool room. The solution was moved to a secure spot. Either secure the cabinet or do not store any hazardous materials in the cabinet.In the toddler room to small toys which were choking hazards were removed.
    • 08. Is this facility properly constructed (Non-Critical)?
      • In the bathroom the toilet seat in the girls stall was not secure.The sink counter top liner is damaged and lifiting in spots. The staff bathroom in the infant room had chemicals stored on the floor behind the toilet and the door could be locked from the inside. Keep the door locked or put a child proof lock on the door.The washroom wall in the boys stall was repaired. Previous violation was corrected.

      • First aid kits were not properly stocked should meet CSA Standard Z1220-17 Type 2 Basic Small First Aid Kit. Ensure kits meet this standard by June 19, 2026
    • 11. Are parent provided foods being properly handled and stored to ensure the safety of clients in this social care facility?
      • Preschool fridge was at 13C and toddler was at 9C. Ensure both fridges are below 4C.

      • The washroom wall in the boys stall was not properly patched and finished. Surface must be smooth and cleanable.
    • 18. Is the facility and equipment being maintained in a suitable manner (Non-Critical)?
      • The air vents (intake and exhaust) are visible dirty. Cleaning required.> vents in the rooms were clean. The only remaining vent with a buildup of dust was the staff washroom in the baby room. Please clean this area. March 07 2025> Air vent in the staff washroom still requires cleaning. March 13 2025

      • Baby Room - one of the cribs in the baby room had a loose side and the side panel was also installed upside down.
