      • The operator was reusing CS20 disinfectant, but the solution was visibly dirty and no test strips or records were available onsite.- Please ensure to use a test strip to verify the disinfectant is maintaining the minimum effective concentration. Records must be kept for the date of tests (verification of minimum effective concentration), test strip results (pass/fail), dates when disinfectant was changed (for reuse period), and initials of the personal services worker who performed the activity.
    • 27. Is the facility maintained in a visibly clean state and are environmental surfaces cleaned and disinfected properly?
      • The waxing station was observed with visible buildup of wax residue, hair, and debris on and around the heating compartments.- Clean and maintain the area to ensure all surfaces are free of residue, hair, and debris before use.

      • 1. There is not a proper high level disinfectant for the manicure and pedicure tools.2. The tables and chairs are not being disinfected regularly.1. All manicure and pedicure tools must be cleaned with soap and water first, then rinsed and dried, then fully soaked in a high level disinfectant. Please replace the high level disinfectant immediately. The high level disinfectant must have a DIN number and a high level disinfectant or chemical sterilant claim. 2. Tables and chairs must be disinfected with a low or intermediate level disinfectant after each client.
