      • **CORRECTED**1. White bed cover was being disinfected with PREempt wipes and not being laundered between clients. Discussed that all linens must be switched out and laundered between clients, and that the PREempt wipes are for use on non-porous surfaces.

The Operator stated they were re-using PREempt CS20 high level disinfectant in the soak tray for 7 days, but was not testing the poured solution with test strips and recording the results in a log sheet. The Operator agreed they would discard poured solution daily instead. COMPLETE THE FOLLOWING:1. If wanting to re-use the poured solution for more than one day, Accelerated Hydrogen Peroxide Test strips (2% - HLD5, or 7% - CS20) must be purchased to test the concentration of the solution to ensure it is strong enough for disinfecting the reusable equipment. 2. The solution must be tested each day it is reused, and the tests must be recorded in a log sheet.3. The poured solution must not be used if there if a failed test, and must be discarded.
