      • Written procedures were not available on site. Templates will be emailed to the operator. Please ensure written procedures are available and implemented.
    • 27. Is the facility maintained in a visibly clean state and are environmental surfaces cleaned and disinfected properly?
      • General cleaning and sanitation is required throughout the facility. Nail dust was noted in the facility. The reprocessing sink had a build up of grime. The high touch surfaces were not clean. The waxing table was wrapped in a plastic warp that was not clean. Please clean and disinfect the facility thoroughly and ensure it is maintained in a clean and sanitary manner at all times.Jan 22: The wax table was clean. The manicure stations were clean.       • The hand wash station in the front was not equipped with soap. This was corrected during the inspection. The hand wash station in the bathroom did not have paper towels. This was corrected during the inspection.

      • Re-usable equipment does not appear to be properly cleaned prior to disinfection. Residual and dust were observed, Many pieces of re-usable equipment were rusted. Remove rusted and damaged equipment so it can be cleaned properly.

      • The high level disinfectant logs were not filled out for 2026. The high level disinfectant logs for 2025 were not available.

      • Two pedicure chairs have large holes in the back rest. Ensure all surfaces are smooth, non-porous and easy to clean.

      • Used single use nail files were observed in manicure station drawers. Used items are to be discarded immediately after use.
    • 15. Is reusable equipment handled and stored properly (Critical)?
      • Contaminated/used equipment was observed in various areas of the facility. Contaminated equipment is to be stored away from all other equipment. Contaminated equipment is not to be stored in drawers and is to be stored where it will not contaminate other items.
