    • 10. Is cleansing and antisepsis of skin and mucous membrane performed in accordance to written procedures and are suitable products being used?
      • Expired Bactine antiseptic used at one tattoo station. All antiseptics should not be expired to ensure skin is being properly disinfected prior to being punctured. Please replace the Bactine.
    • 12. Are personal services workers at the facility maintaining client records and where applicable, sterility documentation corresponding to that client?
      • No records of sterility assurance documentation available on site at the time of the inspection. Sterility assurance documentation is required to have on record and maintained for 2 years. It must include the lot number, and the expiration of the needle attached to the client's records. Please ensure all tattoo artists are maintaining a sterility assurance documentation for every client.
