      • CB3 Room: Six toxic "bingo dabbers" (Dollarama brand) were found in the classroom; these were discarded by staff during the inspection.
    • 10. Is a properly supplied first aid kit provided and readily available?
      • The first aid kit was missing the following items:Emergency blanket, Single use antibiotic ointments, and individually wrapped skin cleansing towelettes

      • JK12 Room: Children’s personal clothing was in contact with other children’s belongings; items should be stored separately.*Staff corrected the violation at the time of inspection.

      • Staff room: 1. Wet cleaning rags were observed on the counter by sink.*Please ensure the following: Cleaning rags are used only once and then disposed of or laundered. This prevents cross-contamination and bacterial spread. 2. Quat's disinfectant was tested as 400 ppm. Please ensure to either reduce concentration to 200 ppm or include a second step cleaning with clean water to remove chemical from the surface.

      • 1. Please obtain test strips for Quats sanitizer.2. CB2 Room: Staff were observed using the toy-washing sink for handwashing purposes. Staff was informed to exclusively use hand washing sink for washing hands.3. CB 3 Room: The washroom door lock was found to be loose. Please fix it.4. CB1 Room: Ensure the diapering belt on the change table is secured, or the mattress is properly fastened to the table.5. CB1: Cupboard locks need to be properly secured.

A surface disinfectant was not available to disinfect the surfaces in the staff room. Please ensure a disinfectant is available.

      • The followings are dirty and needs cleaning:- underneath the diapering mat and hand sink in JK 1-1- corners and front area of JK 3-1 - hard to reach areas (ex: underneath the paint dryer rack), and corners in JK 2-2- hard to reach areas such as corners in CB2

      • 1. Fabric toys and materials were observed in different classrooms. Please ensure all plush toys, dress up clothes, and any play equipment (play dough, puzzles etc. nature items) that cannot be cleaned and disinfected properly are removed during the outbreak. Corrected onsite. 2. Wiping cloths were used to clean/disinfect surfaces and were stored on the countertop. Please use a single use towel or a papertowel to clean/disinfect the surfaces.
