      • Fake eyelashes were found inside a cleaned tool pouch.- Reprocessed the tools in the pouch, and ensure the cleaned tool storage is free of contaminants.
    • 20. Is reusable equipment disinfected properly?
      • 1. The high-level disinfectant product (Preempt CS20) was not maintained according to manufacturer instructions, discard the solution daily or confirm the concentration daily. The solution in use was measured below the required concentration.2. Opeator indicated the tools were submerged in Preempt CS20 for 10-15 mins for disinfection. - Ensure the manufacturer instructions are followed, operator opted to discard the solution daily and ensure soaking time is 20 mins. The tools inside the solution were redisinfected before use.

      • Staff lunch room is inside the waxing room. - Ensure non-work related activities are separated from work areas.
