      • 1) Cleaning is required around the window area.2) Handwashing sink: The caulking around the sink requires repair. The sink appears to be rusted and requires maintenance or replacement.3) The baseboard near the exit door requires repair.4) - A table was observed with sharp corners that may pose an injury risk to children. *Install corner guards or protective bumpers to prevent injuries.

      • Push pins are used in the daycare room. Push pins may fall on the floor and hurt a child. Use sticky tacks instead.

      • The areas by the window and the vent in the daycare room is dirty. Please clean/sanitize thoroughly.
    • 20. Are indoor play areas and equipment sufficient and being properly maintained to ensure client safety (Non-Critical)?
      • The Fisher Price toys by the window in the daycare room is dirty. Please clean/sanitize thoroughly. Ensure the crevices are cleaned as well.
    • 27. Are proper measures being taken to ensure that vermin do not enter or exist in the facility (Non-Critical)?
      • Lots of dead flies were seen by the air conditioning unit in the daycare room. Please ensure the following:- thoroughly clean/ sanitize these area- ensure tight fitted screens are in place and/or the area around the air conditioning is completed sealed to prevent any flies from coming in- if the issue persists, please contact an integrated pest management company to resolve the issue.

      • A porous cabinet was used to store supplies in the daycare room. Cabinet with porous material cannot be cleaned/ disinfected properly. Please ensure all surfaces are non-porous and easily cleanable.
