    • 10. Are food temperatures during storage and processing being controlled to maximize food safety?
      • Temperature for refrigerator unit noted to be at 8.6 C. This was measured with a probe thermometer. The internal temperature for the internal refrigeration thermometer noted to be 9-10C. Ensure food remains under 4 C. Temperature records not observed, ensure records are implemented, and temperatures are recorded.
    • 16. Is the facility free of unapproved animals, vermin and/or insects (unless noted elsewhere), and maintained to prevent the entry or harbourage of pests?
      • One sticky trap noted to have what appears to be a cockroach in it. Ensure traps are replaced and monitored as needed (at least once a month). Ensure pest monitoring is in place.
    • 19. Does the facility have a valid permit and does the facility operate in compliance with the conditions of that permit, or is the facility awaiting approval prior to operation?
      • Food handling permit note to be expired (2024). Please ensure current and valid permit is posted and easily visible to public.
    • 21. Is the facility properly constructed and maintained in a state of good repair to allow for the safe and sanitary handling of food?
      • Foil noted on the fridge door and inside on the shelves. Please remove to ensure all surfaces are easily cleanable impervious to moisture.Hinge for the bottom cupboard door was noted to be loose. Ensure door is secured in place.
    • 23. Is the facility maintained in a clean and sanitary condition?
      • Overall sanitation and organization observed to be needing improvement. Please ensure organization of the drawers is completed as well.
