    • 09. Are properly operating hand washing sink(s) available in suitable location(s), and properly stocked with handwashing supplies?
      • Upper floor childcare room (Infant/Toddler): 1 hand sink was available for hand washing after diapering.The same sink was used for rinsing dishes prior to dishwashing and toy washing. A dedicated handwashing sink is required for diapering that cannot be used for toy washing or dishwashing.Dishwashing and toy washing are to be completed in the adjacent classroom. Diapering hand washing can occur in the classroom until further changes are made.(Install separate hand sink for diapering hand washing OR provide written procedure for dishwashing and toy washing)

      • Washroom in basement (Near front stairs) had 1 sink that was cold. Children were observed washing hands for appropriate length with soap in sink.Ensure sink is able to be maintain a temperature recommended to be low 30 degrees C - low 40 degrees C.

      • Mini fridges in basement classrooms were noted to be 6 degrees and 7 degrees C.*Monitor temperature of mini fridges (to be below 4 degrees C) or remove perishable food storage (milk)
