      • 1. Staple pins observed on the wallboard in Room 1.-Please ensure the staple pins are covered with an appropriate material to minimize access to potentially hazardous objects.2. Uncovered light fixtures noted in several daycare classrooms.-Please install suitable covers on the light fixtures to help prevent or reduce the risk of injury.

      • 1. Inadequate sanitizer concentration observed in Room 1. The bleach solution was measured at 50 ppm. -Please ensure the solution is prepared at a concentration of 100 ppm to support effective cleaning and sanitizing of daycare surfaces, including the diapering station.2. Extraneous materials observed on diapering surface and handwashing sink in Room 1. Children's toys were found on the diapering surface and handwashing sink. -Please remove all toys from these areas to ensure the diapering surface is properly cleaned and sanitized, and to support appropriate hand hygiene practices.This infraction was corrected during the inspection.

Protruding screws were observed beside the toilet in the facility's shared washroom.-Please provide appropriate covers for these screws to prevent injury.

      • The hot water temperature in the handwashing sinks across all classrooms and children's washrooms measured above 58°C.Reduce the water temperature for all handwashing sinks/ plumbing fixtures accessible to children to measure 49'C or less. Water at children's handwashing sink must not exceed the required safe temperature of 49'C, the water at the sinks has to be kept warm enough to encourage handwashing.
