    • 04. Are clients at this facility being protected from hazards (Non-Critical)?
      • There was a storeroom near the back entrance with various disinfectants stored at child height that was open in the classroom during the inspection. Please ensure that children are not allowed in this room and it is kept closed to prevent children from accessing it.
    • 18. Is the facility and equipment being maintained in a suitable manner (Non-Critical)?
      • There were no test strips onsite to verify the disinfectant was at the appropriate concentration for disinfection. The operator was instructed to order test strips for the disinfectant to test concentration.

      • Cleaning cloths were being used for extended periods and were being used for multiple classes. The operator was instructed to replace the rags between classes to prevent microbial growth and cross contamination.

      • The sink temperature for handwashing in the bathroom exceeded the maximum temperature allowed for a childcare hand sink. The operator was instructed to get the building owner to install a tempering device or find another solution to limit the hot water temperature to a safe level.
