What these findings mean

Health authorities word their findings differently, so we group them by what they mean for the people in care. Higher-risk findings are the ones that could directly make someone sick, and they matter more here because young children, older adults and people who are unwell are more vulnerable to infection.

  • Other findingsLower risk

Findings that do not fit the categories above, such as follow-ups that confirm an earlier violation was corrected, or requirements specific to this type of facility.

    1 infraction

    • C10.2 - Are children supervised, and are employee to children ratios maintained?
      • Observation(s): The complaint information received alleges that there are children who haven't started school yet attending the school age program. Follow-up to the complaint included on-site review of daily attendance and children's records. Licensing confirmed the licensee submitted three exemption requests for those children, who were not attending the program during inspection. However, past attendance records did confirm a child without an approved exemption request, did attend the program. As a result of the investigation, the complaint is determined to be substantiated.
      • C10.2F - Ensure a child is eligible to receive care in a care program if the child's age matches the age or is within the age range to which the care program applies: 2.1(1)(a)
